The theater dome is incredible, the shows are different, and the guide is knowledgeable and funny.

The mural at the entrance is impressive, and all loved how the culture is integrated into the lessons and how traditional stories are passed down. So that is perfect for you and your family.

3. Children’s Discovery Center

It is easily the best children’s museum/entertainment center for Children. There are many things to do for kids with a perfect balance of fun and education.

4. Hawaii State Art Museum

It’s a pleasant spot to visit. Entrance is free. But the collection is small. You can spend 25-30 minutes there.

5. Lyman Museum

It is an excellent little museum covering the rocks, minerals, geology, and history of colonization of plants, animals, and peopleโ€”as well as the industrial development of the island, political changes, and present culture.

The museum also has a historic house tour side, but you need to reserve your place first on tour before arrival as they are booked days in advance.

6. Lanikai Beach

Lanikai Beach is one of Hawaii’s best. This stunning beach has crystal clear, blue water, pristine white sand, And, most importantly, beautiful scenery.

Best of all, the beach is relatively quiet. It also has a calm tide. The only challenge is finding a place to park. Overall, everyone immensely enjoyed their time there.




7. Punaluสปu Beach

It is a beautiful, picturesque spot, with a small jet-black beach framed by gorgeous coconut palms and a lagoon with water hyacinths planted by a local school to limit erosion.

There was a small hand-made sign explaining that. Apparently, there is a guarantee to see them as these turtles are always on the beach or out in the water.

8. Mahana Beach

A free beach is set off the main road with a park, with lots of pub-bench type seating, mostly under trees, some concrete ping pong tables, and spotless public toilets and changing facilities.

People were having their picnics at the benches, the odd swimmer in the humid blistering heat and the quirky guy with a spear gun ready to catch a meal.

The coral and weeds were terrific; they were pristine coral with beautiful, colorful fish. It is easy to swim without flippers as there is hardly any current.




9. Rainbow Falls

This is a must-visit place you should visit once in your life experience. If you’ve decided to do it in one single day along with the Double Decker Living Root Bridges, Brace yourself for some endurance tests you can face. Nevertheless, it’s a beautiful experience!

10. Waipio Valley

Suitable place to see the beauty of nature. There you can relax, you spend your time enjoying the view and feeling the fresh ocean air. There are small picnic areas and restrooms.
