The Indian Museum is the ninth oldest museum of the world and largest in India, the Indian Museum is located the city of joy –Kolkata. The basis stone of the Indian Museum was placed down in the year 1814 and has been a centre of multidisciplinary activities ever since. It’s another name is “JADUGHAR”.
Comprising the finest collection of contemporary paintings, sacred relies of Buddha, Egyptian Mummies and ancient sculptures. The Indian Museum also has some of the most exquisite collections of ornaments, antiques, fossils, armors, skeletons and stunning Mughal paintings.
